In the home furnishing manufacturing industry, the quality of supporting aluminum materials directly affects the structural safety, user experience, and lifespan of the finished product.Because aluminum serves multiple functions in terms of strength, corrosion resistance, and aesthetics, its quality control must be implemented through a comprehensive and systematic management across the entire chain, from raw materials to finished product delivery, to meet the modern home furnishing industry's dual pursuit of reliability and aesthetics.

Source control is the primary link in quality assurance. The main properties of aluminum materials are determined by alloy composition and metallurgical quality. Therefore, during the procurement stage, it is necessary to strictly verify the aluminum ingot grade, trace element content, and supplier qualifications, and confirm that the chemical composition meets design requirements through incoming inspection. Excessive impurity content or improper proportions will directly lead to a decrease in the mechanical properties of the profiles, weakened corrosion resistance, and even the risk of deformation or breakage during use.

Quality control during the production process is equally crucial. In the smelting and casting stages, temperature profiles, degassing and slag removal, and cooling rates must adhere to process standards to obtain billets with uniform microstructure and low internal stress. During the extrusion molding stage, the die status, extrusion speed, and temperature parameters should be monitored in real time to prevent uneven metal flow leading to twisting, waviness, and dimensional deviations. Online quenching and aging treatments require precise control of time and temperature to ensure the profiles achieve the expected strength and hardness. Each process should have key quality points, equipped with testing equipment for real-time data acquisition and analysis, creating traceable process records.

Surface treatment quality directly affects the decorative effect and durability of aluminum materials. Pre-treatment should ensure the billet surface is clean and free of oil. The thickness, uniformity, and adhesion of the oxide film or coating must meet relevant standards, and its weather resistance and corrosion resistance should be evaluated through salt spray testing and abrasion resistance testing. Color difference control should rely on standardized light source comparison and batch management to avoid visual inconsistencies caused by fluctuations in spraying or oxidation parameters.

The factory inspection stage must cover dimensional accuracy, mechanical properties, surface quality, and environmental indicators, employing a combination of sampling and full inspection to verify key items. Simultaneously, a comprehensive labeling and batch traceability system should be established to quickly pinpoint the source and cause of any problems, enabling corrective and preventative measures.

In summary, quality control of aluminum materials for home furnishings is a systematic project encompassing raw materials, manufacturing processes, surface treatment, and finished product inspection. Only by adhering to standards, refining testing, and strengthening collaboration at every stage can we consistently deliver products with stable performance and excellent appearance, providing solid support for the high-quality development of the home furnishing industry.
